1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FightTrak mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
FightTrak provides real-time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament tracking and notification services. Our services include:
- Tournament schedule tracking from IBJJF and Smoothcomp
- Real-time notifications for matches, brackets, and results
- Athlete and club tracking capabilities
- Match and bracket information aggregation
We aggregate publicly available tournament data from third-party sources. We are not affiliated with IBJJF, Smoothcomp, or any tournament organizer.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of FightTrak, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should obtain parental consent before using the App.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
- Violate or infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers or networks connected to the App
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App without our express written permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the App
- Remove, circumvent, or manipulate any security features of the App
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
5. Third-Party Data
FightTrak aggregates publicly available tournament data from IBJJF, Smoothcomp, and other sources. We do not:
- Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data
- Control the availability or content of third-party tournament websites
- Have any affiliation with or endorsement from tournament organizers
Tournament data is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Always verify critical information (match times, mat assignments) directly with tournament officials.
6. Notifications
By using FightTrak's notification features, you consent to receive push notifications about:
- Match schedules and upcoming matches
- Bracket publications and updates
- Match results and tournament updates
- Important service announcements
You can manage notification preferences in the App settings or your device settings at any time.
7. Intellectual Property
FightTrak and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FightTrak and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Our logo, name, and branding are our trademarks. You may not use them without our express written permission.
Tournament data displayed in the App remains the property of the respective tournament organizers and is used under fair use principles for informational purposes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of tournament data
We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or that defects will be corrected.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIGHTTRAK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
- Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
- Damages resulting from reliance on tournament data or notifications
- Missed matches, incorrect schedules, or tournament changes not reflected in the App
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (currently $0 as the App is free).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FightTrak and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:
- Violates these Terms or our policies
- Is harmful to other users, third parties, or us
- Violates applicable laws or regulations
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@fighttrak.app.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
- Sending an in-app notification or email (if you've provided one)
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you must stop using the App.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in the United States.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FightTrak regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.

17. Acknowledgment
